When the ICSA Queensland Branch decided a few months ago to organise a stand-alone Illawarra Show at Gatton Showgrounds on the 11th of September, there were a few doubters. Still, it is safe to say that it was an outstanding success, with tremendous animals on display and excellent financial support received from sponsors and members, both past and present.
With 57 quality animals presented to Judge Keith Dorries, he certainly had to put his thinking cap on but, as usual, did a fantastic job.
Congratulations to the Henry family for winning all three championships: Intermediate Best Udder, Pen of Three, and Most Successful Exhibitor. This is an indication of the depth of their team.
