For the first time in several years, both days of Maleny Show were fine and clear, showcasing the beautiful showgrounds and the cattle on parade to best advantage.

Raymond Parker (Glencliffe Stud) travelling from Victoria to judge 52 Illawarra cattle put forward by six exhibitors.

It is unlikely that the Riverwood Stud will ever again experience the level of success achieved over the two days at Maleny, winning all the broad ribbons on offer in the breed judging and all bar two reserve placings in the Supremes.  Their on-ground production animals also excelled with Jondene Erika 14 winning the coveted Champion Butterfat and Weight of Milk awards and Riverwood Moss 2 taking out the junior production awards.  Congratulations to the team.
