Judge Bill Leggat (SA) faced a total of 7 exhibitors when he judged at the Murray Bridge Show on September 27th, 2014. Prior to retirement, Bill was the principal classifier of the Holstein Association.
Thomas Follett, DJ & KM Philbey, & Boldview Farms were three welcome additions to the Murray Bridge Illawarra ring for the first time. Still, it was Neville and Marie Mueller who took the majority of the broad ribbons. The Mueller's Glenhaven Little Princess 9th won Senior Champion Cow and Glenhaven Jenny 6th Reserve Champion Cow.
It was a real family affair for the Muellers, with two daughters of the Senior Champion also performing well. Little Princess 10th won the 4-year-old in milk class while another daughter, Little Princess 11th, was Junior Champion, and together, Little Princess 9th and Little Princess 11th won Dam’s Progeny.
The Altmann Family won Intermediate Champion with Blackwood Park Beauty 83 and Reserve Champion Junior with Blackwood Park Beauty 86. Reserve Champion Intermediate went to Tom Follett with Glenbrook Belle 50.
