North Queensland breeders gathered at the Malanda showgrounds to not only exhibit their cattle before Judge, Laurie Chittick, Lemon Grove, Tongala, Victoria, but to also help celebrate the 80th birthday of Kevin English of Eachamvale Stud. Illawarra breeders and their families travelled from around Queensland to be present for the celebrations.
Queensland Branch President, Mr Keith Dorries, took great pleasure in presenting Kevin with Life Membership of the Queensland Branch in honour of his many, many years of supporting and promoting the Illawarra breed in North Queensland.
Eachamvale Stud reigned supreme in the show ring taking out all three championships.
