Melbourne Royal Show judging got underway this morning with Scott Braendler of Boldview Ayrshires, Jervois, South Australia officiating.
The broad ribbons in the junior and intermediate championships have been spread across the board. Tony and Elle Hayes have taken out the junior championship with Llandovery JR Joan 983 with Brad and Jess Gavenlock's Cherrylock Maldas Pride in the Reserve position.
In the Intermediate division, Winganna Empire Vision exhibited by Warren Schultz took the champion ribbon after being named the winner of the Best Intermediate Vessel class. Three Creeks Rosarian 4 (Justin & Brooke Evans) took reserve.
Michael Tuhan reigned supreme in the senior division with 2012 Champion, Riversleigh Tulip 10 being named Senior Champion Cow for the second year in a row. Tulip also won the Senior Best Vessel class and Supreme Illawarra exhibit. The Reserve Cow also went to the Tuhans with Riversleigh Bustling Belle 14.
