With an interstate judge arriving for the Wide Bay Burnett Illawarra Cattle Club's calf show held on Sunday, March 10 at the Woodford Showgrounds, the day proceeded despite a very heavy track due to the area's copious amounts of rain over the last month.  Thankfully the rain held off while Max Austin officiated over the 39 animals presented by 7 exhibitors.  Wife Margaret was also in attendance and had the unenviable job of cleaning Max's trousers and shoes before they headed home to Tasmania.

Sunday, March 17 will see exhibitors head to Beaudesert Showgrounds for a return match organised by the South East Queensland Illawarra Cattle Club.
