The Blackwood Park Stud's first team of ten cows averaged 12,614 litres at 908 kgs of Fat Plus Protein. Their second string averaged 11,749 litres of milk at 849 kgs Fat Plus Protein. Splitting the Altmann's teams was Ian and Julie Mueller of Glenbrook Stud, also of South Australia, with their team averaging 12,558 litres at 875 kgs F+P.
In fourth spot was C R Chittick Pty Ltd (Laurie & Sandra Chittick, Lemon Grove Stud) from Victoria averaging 12,245 litres for 833 kgs F+P. Fifth placing went to South Australia's Treeton Stud (Geoff & Rosemarie Williams & family) with 10,599 litres at 823 kgs F+P.
The Holzhauser competition consists of teams of ten cows with placings based on the highest combined average total protein and butterfat content. The 140 cows entered into the competition, averaged 11068 litres at 794 kgs of Fat Plus Protein.
