The Production committee congratulates the Altmann family on recent figures in the J2 category by 2 different young cows in their herd.

Blackwood Park Lisa 9 (sire BP Philbey) produced 9899 Ltrs milk 334 Protein 514 Butterfat to claim the J2 National Butterfat Record and Blackwood Park Empress 40 (sire LG Bumper) produced 10888 Ltrs milk 358 Protein 455 Butterfat to claim the J2 National Protein Record.

All previous J2 records were held by Blackwood Park Laurel 86 with10970 Ltrs milk 510 Butterfat and 337 Protein.  She still holds the National J2 Milk Record.

Blackwood Park Illawarras currently hold 13 National Production records whilst all 5 Production Records broken in 2013 have come from the South Australian Branch ICSA.  Congratulations to all!
