Exciting times for the Doecke family of South Australia (Springvale Stud, Murray Bridge) with the purchase of a new farm at 1337 Jervois Road, Woods Point on the Murray Bridge-Wellington Road approximately 10 klms downstream on the other side of the river from their previous farm.  The new farm consolidates their previous farming operation into one unit allowing the business to operate much more easily, bringing Damien (Bridge View), Michael (Yiddinga) and Adele (Riverglades) back home to join parents Warren and Cheryl.

After being elected as Senior Vice President of the ICSA at the October Federal meetings, Warren returned home to start the huge job of moving the milking herd to the new farm and into the equipped 50 unit rotary.  The herd of Illawarras lived up to their easy going reputation, accepting the new dairy after a couple of days.

The new farm has 290 acres of flood irrigated river flats, 70 acres permanent sprinkler highland irrigation and 880 acres of cropping/grazing land across the road.
