Are you in need of a holiday? Why not come to this year's Federal AGM of the I.C.S.A. which will be held at Malanda in sunny Far North Queensland on October 4 & 5, 2012.
The meeting format will be -
Thursday, October 4:
morning - ICSA Queensland Branch meeting.
Lunch
Afternoon - Federal AGM
Friday, October 5:
All day - Federal Council AGM
All meetings will be held at the Malanda RSL, Catherine Street, Malanda.
There will be an All Breeds Dairy Youth Camp commencing lunch time Wednesday 3rd. This culminates with an All Breeds Calf Day on Saturday with each breed being judged separately.
In conjunction with the meetings being held in Malanda, a state-wide Illawarra On Farm Challenge will be conducted with the overall winners being announced in Malanda. At the same time the Holstein, Brown Swiss and Jersey clubs are hoping to hold on farm challenges.
Herd inspections will be arranged for those who want them and if required, tourist and shopping tours can be organised for those not attending meetings.
The weather in October is generally fine and warm so it is a good time to visit this area. However, no guarantees will be issued with regard to the weather.
