Gympie Show dawned fine and clear for Judge, Julie Moore of Brushy Mountain Stud, Dorrigo, New South Wales.
Seven exhibitors presented 40 head with most successful exhibitor going to the Michael & Glenda Henry and family.
Mike and Matt Henry representing the Henry Family from Hodgsonvale, Toowoomba and the Tara and White Park Studs, reigned supreme in the juvenile classes taking out both the Champion Juvenile Heifer with Tara Daffodil 43 and Reserve Champion Juvenile with Tara Cherry 8 (ET).
Riverwood Miranda 2 owned by the Ledger Family of Carters Ridge was awarded the Junior championship with the Henry Family awarded the Reserve placing with Rosedale Talent Melody. Riverwood Miranda 2 also won Best Udder and Attachment under 3 years.
The senior championship went to Graeme and Robbie Radel of Radel Discretionary Trust, Biggenden with Rosedale Redoak Joanne 2506. The Ledger Family's Riverwood Lucy 2 was awarded Reserve Champion Cow. Rosedale Redoak Joanne 2506 also won Best Udder and Attachment 3 years and over.
In the Inter-Breed competition, Radel's champion Illawarra cow was named Reserve Supreme Cow and Reserve Supreme Udder. The Ledger's team of three heifers also took out the Reserve ribbon.
The All Breeds On-Ground Milking Competition saw Den Dia Minnie 3 (Den Dia Partnership, Carters Ridge) named Reserve Champion Milk Cow and Reserve Champion Protein Cow producing 40.6 kgs of milk and 1.58 kgs of Protein in the 24 hours.
