The family of James Teese has had a long association with the Brisbane Ekka and that association continued at the 2011 show with the family represented by Jordan Teese acting as the Illawarra Dairy Princess.

Son of James, Baden with wife Alison, had hoped that three generations of the family would be present at the recent Illawarra judging but unfortunately daughter Rhaelene, who was also the Illawarra dairy princess in her younger days, was unable to be present due to the delivery of her second child three weeks early following a difficult pregnancy.

Baden with the help of his granddaughters, Selena Buffett and Jordan Teese, presented the James Teese Memorial sash to the winner of the Pen of Three Cows, M & G Henry of Toowoomba led by their son Matt.

Alison, the Queensland Branch publicity officer, was behind the camera.
