Panorama Angeline 9 has reigned supreme in the Illawarra Dairy section at the 2010 Brisbane Exhibition being named Champion Illawarra Cow.
Owned by Keith and Annette Dorries of Oakey, Queensland, Angeline 9 according to judge Ian Mueller, Murray Bridge, SA, called for his attention the minute she entered the ring in the 7 years and over in milk class and she got it, taking out not only this class but also the Best Udder and Attachment for over 3’s.
Mr Mueller commented that the top three animals in the championship class were all very close.
Reserve Champion Cow went to F S Johnston & Son’s Jondene Dainty 97 and Honourable Mention to another of the Dorries’ exhibits, Panorama Honey 14.
Champion Junior Female went to Mike & Glenda Henry’s Tara Fussy 3 with the Ledger Family taking out both Reserve Champion and Honourable Mention Junior Females with Riverwood Jewel and Riverwood Lyndal 3 respectively.
In the Juvenile classes, Allen Vale Blossom 15 owned and exhibited by Allen and Denise Whatman of Oakey was named Champion, FS Johnston & Sons’ Jondene Model 18 Reserve Champion and the Henry’s Tara Panda 6 Honourable Mention.
The Henry Family from Hodgsonvale, Toowoomba were Most Successful Exhibitors.
