It was a terrible shock to hear that our fun loving larrikin Queensland member, Baden Teese, passed away on Wednesday, December 6.

A member of the Queensland Branch committee for many years, enthusiastic supporter of the Illawarra breed and a descendent of a long line of Illawarra breeders, Baden’s humour and good cheer will be sadly missed.

Despite severe health problems over the last 11 years, Baden set a wonderful example to all by always bringing laughter and good cheer wherever he went, often through a few jokes, some of which were a bit risqué, and continuing to work hard on the farm.

Our sympathy and thoughts go out to his mum Merle, wife Alison, children Brad and Rhaelene and grandchildren as well as sister Cheryl Ardrey and all Baden’s siblings and extended family.

The funeral for Baden will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Uniting Church, cnr Duckett & William Streets, Beaudesert commencing at 10am.
