The Altmann family’s Blackwood Park has again taken out first place in the ICSA’s Holzhauser Production Awards although this year Ian and Julie Mueller’s entry was top for litres of milk, a great effort. Most improved went to Raymond and Sarah Parker.
Each entry consists of ten cows with the winning entry going to the highest average of the combined total protein and butterfat content. The 120 cows entered averaged 10795 litres of milk for 817.2 kgs Fat Plus Protein.
