Wide Bay Burnett Illawarra Cattle Club President, Steve Ledger, said today preparations for the Club's 30th anniversary celebrations are well in hand.  The Club will celebrate its anniversary in conjunction with its annual Calf Day to be held on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Woodford Showgrounds.

"As many past club members have been contacted as possible," said Steve.  "We are hoping for a really good turnout of current and past members".
Founding President, Terry Tidcombe, is travelling up from Victoria to judge the calf show.

As well as a complimentary morning tea, spectators will be able to partake of a lovely barbeque lunch but Secretary, Di Pratten, 54 855450 would appreciate a call from those who know they will be attending to assist with catering.
